Hasher

If you want an ArdsleyHigh73.com email you need to supply a hash of the password you will use to access your email account.

This isn’t the password itself, which is never stored in the website. It’s a one-way translation of the password the server uses to confirm that you are really you. Because it’s a one-way translation there is no practical way of figuring out the original password from its hash. So be sure you store the actual password somewhere safe!

To create the hash, enter the password in the field below and then click the Hash the Password button. The hash will appear as an error message below the password field. That’s weird, but it’s a limitation of the software being used. You’ll also get a message to the effect errors were encountered and the form was not submitted. That’s to be expected, and can be ignored.

To copy the hash once it appears, click and drag the mouse cursor through the entire hash value (including any trailing periods or other odd characters), and then press control-C on your keyboard. This copies the hash to the clipboard. You can then create an email to the website administrator by clicking this link and pasting the hash into it by pressing control-V. Be sure to also include the email user name you want (the part before the @ in an email address).

The administrator will set up your email account and notify you when it is available.

For instructions on how to access your email account once it is set up please see these instructions.
